Abida Parveen is one of the chief kinds of Sufi music from Pakistan. She acknowledged her melodic planning at first from her father Ustad Ghulam Haider, and later from Ustad Salamat Ali Khan of the Sham Chaurasia Gharana. Her late mate, Ghulam Hussain Sheik mentored her and expected a critical part in her melodic livelihood.
