The heritage of Raga Boyz gets back to Ustad Kalluji (Darbar Gayak of Patiala State, the Maharaja of Patiala, Bhupinder Singh) followed by his kids and the best performers of their period, Ustad Ali Baksh Jarnail and Ustad Barey Fateh Ali Khan. The practice of this family continued with the family member, and the pioneers of the state of the art old style singing, Ustad Aashiq Ali Khan, Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan, and his youngsters Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, and astounding individual Ustad Hamid Ali Khan.
